SpeedPulse is built with privacy as a core principle. We don't collect, store, or track personal information. Our speed tests are conducted entirely in your browser without compromising your privacy.

What We Don't Collect

• Personal identifying information (names, addresses, phone numbers)
• Email addresses or contact information
• Browsing history or website usage patterns
• Device fingerprinting or tracking identifiers
• Location data beyond basic IP geolocation
• Cookies for tracking or advertising purposes

Technical Data Processing

To provide speed measurements, your browser temporarily exchanges data with the test endpoints:

• Connection requests sent to CDN edge nodes to measure latency (ping).
• Data transfers downloaded and uploaded to measure throughput.
• Test results shown on screen and, if you choose, kept in your browser's local memory for the history view.

These transfers happen directly between your browser and the test endpoints. We do not log results on our own servers.

Third-Party Services

The speed test itself relies on widely-used public infrastructure:

• CDN / speed test endpoints: used to transfer the data that measures your connection.
• Web hosting: static hosting for the website itself.

These providers operate under their own privacy policies; we only use them to deliver the test.

Cookies & Local Storage

SpeedPulse uses minimal browser storage for functionality:

• Local storage: optional, to remember your recent test results between visits.
• No tracking: we don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store personal data on our servers, there's nothing to request, modify, or delete. You have complete control over your privacy when using SpeedPulse. You can clear your local test history at any time from the test page.
